WORKFLOW ACTIONS

What you can configure.

Choose an action in the workflow builder, connect an account, and map its inputs. These actions are available in the catalog; your account access and a successful test determine whether they work for your setup.

Create row

Write

Insert one typed JSON row into a Supabase table.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • INSERT and SELECT on the exposed table

Operation limits

  • Returns the provider-confirmed inserted row. A lost response remains uncertain and is not retried.

A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.

Delete row

Write

Delete one row matching a named unique column in a Supabase table.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • DELETE and SELECT on the exposed table

Operation limits

  • PostgREST rejects a deletion affecting more than one row. A lost response remains uncertain and is not retried.

A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.

Get Auth user

Read

Read selected identity and sign-in timestamps for one Auth user.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • Supabase service role access to Auth users

Operation limits

  • Only selected Auth user identity fields are returned. Metadata, identities, provider tokens and full account records are excluded from workflow results.

Get row

Read

Read one row matching a named unique column in a Supabase table.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • SELECT on the exposed table

Operation limits

  • Use a unique or primary-key column. Two matching rows cause an error rather than an arbitrary first result.

Invite Auth user

Write

Send one Auth invite email through the selected Supabase project.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • Supabase service role access to invite Auth users

Operation limits

  • This sends a real email. A timed-out write can have succeeded, so NodeHub does not retry it automatically.
  • Only a provider-confirmed user receipt is returned.

A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.

List Auth users

Read

Read one bounded page of users from the selected project's Auth directory.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • Supabase service role access to Auth users

Operation limits

  • One page of at most 100 users is returned.
  • Only selected Auth user identity fields are returned. Metadata, identities, provider tokens and full account records are excluded from workflow results.

Pagination: page. Check the result for additional pages; a single action may not return every record.

Read rows

Read

Read filtered and ordered rows from the configured Supabase project through its REST API.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • SELECT on the exposed table

Operation limits

  • Up to ten AND filters, three OR groups of at most five alternatives each, and three order columns, with a page of at most 1,000 rows. Nested Boolean expressions and raw PostgREST syntax are not accepted.
  • Secret or service-role keys can bypass RLS. Grant this connection only to trusted workspace members.

Pagination: offset. Check the result for additional pages; a single action may not return every record.

Update row

Write

Update one row matching a named unique column in a Supabase table.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • UPDATE and SELECT on the exposed table

Operation limits

  • PostgREST rejects an update affecting more than one row. A lost response remains uncertain and is not retried.

A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.

SETUP

Start with a controlled test.

01Connect the intended account

Use the account and permissions required for your process. Review the connection check before configuring a workflow action.

02Review inputs and access

Select a listed operation and map its required inputs. Use test records and add a human approval before writes that need review.

03Confirm the result

Inspect step outputs and confirm the result in Supabase. A saved workflow is not a completed provider action.
