WORKFLOW ACTIONS

What you can configure.

Choose an action in the workflow builder, connect an account, and map its inputs. These actions are available in the catalog; your account access and a successful test determine whether they work for your setup.

Get note

Read

Read one meeting note, summary and attendees, optionally including its transcript.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • Granola Business or Enterprise API key with access to the selected notes, folders or spaces

Operation limits

  • Private owner notes and calendar event details are excluded. Local limits are 1000 inline transcript or related items, 200000 characters per text field and the existing 2 MB transport response cap. Granola can return 413 TRANSCRIPT_TOO_LARGE for inline transcripts; use Get transcript with cursor pages instead. Note deleted_at is retained, never treated as active.

Get transcript

Read

Read one native page of a meeting transcript with attributed or anonymous speakers.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • Granola Business or Enterprise API key with access to the selected notes, folders or spaces

Operation limits

  • Returns one bounded native page. hasMore and cursor are authoritative; pass cursor to continue. No automatic full-account import or customer matching.
  • Granola may omit speaker attribution and name, including anonymous iOS diarization. Missing transcripts and invalid cursors fail explicitly.

Pagination: cursor. Check the result for additional pages; a single action may not return every record.

SETUP

Start with a controlled test.

01Connect the intended account

Use the account and permissions required for your process. Review the connection check before configuring a workflow action.

02Review inputs and access

Select a listed operation and map its required inputs. Use test records and add a human approval before writes that need review.

03Confirm the result

Inspect step outputs and confirm the result in Granola. A saved workflow is not a completed provider action.
