Choose an action in the workflow builder, connect an account, and map its inputs. These actions are available in the catalog; your account access and a successful test determine whether they work for your setup.

Fill a template's merge fields and generate the document; it goes to the template's deliveries, and a temporary file URL is returned when there are none or download is on.

The returned file URL expires after 24 hours by default.
Generating a document runs the template's configured deliveries.
A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.
