Account permissions
- Vonage SMS API access and an approved sender for the destination
Operation limits
- A zero status confirms Vonage queued the SMS, not carrier delivery. Delivery receipts need a separate webhook.
- Binary messages (body, udh and protocol-id) are not offered.
- Long or Unicode text can create multiple billable SMS parts. This action caps text at 480 characters.
- A mixed or malformed multipart response is uncertain and will not be retried automatically.
A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.
