WORKFLOW ACTIONS

What you can configure.

Choose an action in the workflow builder, connect an account, and map its inputs. These actions are available in the catalog; your account access and a successful test determine whether they work for your setup.

Cancel deployment

Write

Request cancellation and retain the actual deployment receipt.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • Cancel the selected deployment

Operation limits

  • Not supported for cron jobs. The returned state is reported without assuming cancellation has finished.
  • Returns service and deployment summaries. Build commands, repository URLs, environment values and registry credentials are excluded.

A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.

Trigger deployment

Write

Start a deployment from the configured branch or an explicit Git commit.

Permissions and limits

Account permissions

  • Deploy the selected service

Operation limits

  • A deployment receipt confirms acceptance, not a successful rollout. Empty 202 queued responses have no deployment ID and remain Uncertain without automatic retry. A specific commit is not supported for cron jobs. Image and build-source overrides are not supported by this operation.
  • Returns service and deployment summaries. Build commands, repository URLs, environment values and registry credentials are excluded.

A repeated request may repeat the external action. Review the previous result before retrying a write.

SETUP

Start with a controlled test.

01Connect the intended account

Use the account and permissions required for your process. Review the connection check before configuring a workflow action.

02Review inputs and access

Select a listed operation and map its required inputs. Use test records and add a human approval before writes that need review.

03Confirm the result

Inspect step outputs and confirm the result in Render. A saved workflow is not a completed provider action.
